Delete your Duette account
You can delete your account directly in the Duette app — no need to contact anyone:
- Open Duette and go to Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
Deletion is scheduled about 30 days out, and the app shows you the exact date. Until that date nothing is removed and you can sign back in at any time to cancel. After it, deletion completes automatically — no further action is needed.
What is permanently deleted
- Your profile — name, birthday, and profile photo
- Your sign-in, email address, and account settings
- Notification identifiers for your devices
- Bug reports and screenshots you submitted
- Your private calendar entries
What happens to shared content
- Memories, daily photos, shared calendar events, and bucket lists you built together stay in your partner's scrapbook — including photos that feature you — no longer attributed to your account.
- If you are the last member of your couple, all of that shared content and its photos are permanently deleted as well.
- Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and are not cancelled by deleting your account — manage them in your device's subscription settings.
